Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did Not Know It Existed Did not know this product was available or that a hard cutting blade was also available. Too much in the habit of jumping onto Amazon?Anyway, fitted a non-Stihl carbide cutting blade onto the weed eater and went at it. End result, a lot of brush cut and two arms and shoulders that don't work any more.Went by the Ace Hardware today (a store made of bricks and mortar with real live people) and before even finishing my problem the guy put this product on the counter which l purchased. Dry run it and it feels greatIs it me, or Amazon or lack or marketing skill by Stihl that made this difficult?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work for tall people I recently purchased a Stihl weed eater that was much heavier than my old one, and because of this it keeps throwing my back out. I ordered this harness thinking it would pull some of the weight off my lower back, and sadly I was mistaken. After quite a bit of time trying to get the harness all set up and adjusted I came to the conclusion that the belt will only strap across my belly button, rather than at my waist, where it should be. I used the weed eater connected to this harness the best I could on Sunday and have been having to stay laid out on my couch because once again, my back is out and now it's Tuesday. If your a taller individual I would advise you to stay clear of this product, because with the belt across your belly button it puts a lot of strain on a persons lower back. Depending upon whether my back is out or not I usually stand between 6'6" and 6'8". My neighbors told me it looked like I was wearing a child's backpack while trying to use this for my lawn. Now I'm waiting on Stihl to find out how I can get all my money back for this, since it was a special order item through a dealer and had I known it was not made for tall people, I would have never ordered it and if I return it to the dealer I have to pay 20% restocking fee as well as being out the money for shipping. Sadly, I was told this harness should help my back problems, and it defiantly did not.
